Why do I need a trainer?
I have heard that statement time and time again. We live in the age of the internet after all, there are thousands of workouts online! While that is true, consider this: has this Youtuber, Instagrammer, Tik Toker or blogger met you? Do they know how you move? Your past experience? Your goals?
We often find ourselves scrolling social media, bombarded with the fitspo accounts, fitness bloggers and wellness gurus peddling the latest trends. It can get overwhelming and downright confusing. Many of us end up in a gym setting trying various workouts we find online only to discover 1) they don't work for us, and 2) they don't feel good. We then end up not seeing progress and potentially abandoning our fitness goals altogether.
Whats worse? We end up thinking that we are the problem. We think we didn't work hard enough. That sucks, and I want to change that.
Fitness shouldn't be complicated and it shouldn't be an experience you dread. I have seen many clients that have shared negative experiences in the gym, be it feeling lost, feeling like they don't fit in or feeling like a failure for not mastering their workouts.
